主要學術經歷:   國家重點基礎研究計劃973項目首席科學家、天津大學精密測試技術及儀器國家重點實驗室博士生導師。主要研究領域包括微納加工、超精密加工、復雜曲面加工和精密測量。應邀在中、美、德、日、新等國家召開的國際制造領域主要會議發表大會主題報告及特邀報告50余次。作為項目或課題負責人先后承擔國家基金委重大計劃重點項目、國家重點基礎研究973計劃項目、863計劃重點課題及企業合作項目。現任國際生產工程院(International Academy for Production Engineering)Fellow、英國工程委員會特許工程師(Charted Engineer of Engineering Council, UK)、《國際納米制造技術學報》(International Journal of Nanomanufacturing)主編
